Rai Rai Ken

Checking out for a good-fill for your tummy is hard regardless if you’re hungry or not. From the ambiance to the service, and of course the food itself; it has to  have that “I’ll-surely-come-back!” feel the moment you step out of the place.

Speaking of which, I were in the hunt for the best Japanese restaurant that serves all Japanese faves, and Rai Rai Ken is what I came across with. With the half-priced Ramen, which you can only take advantage if you order one of their appetizers and drinks, I chose gyoza for the appetizer and mango shake plus red iced tea for drinks. I ordered Batchoy Ramen and seafood Hotpot Ramen, one of their best buys. I also added Tuna Sashimi and California Maki to complete the jappy experience.

Though the Japanese vibe was there, with all the wooden table settings and the lanterns, I only got to appreciate their Ramen. Their Maki was a bit bland and course, but credits to their plating.

Will I come back? Probably yes - but for their Ramen, alone.
