I got fed up. Though I have things to prioritize, I managed to do this inclination in disguise. I am sincerely absorbed by how good artists are in this line of pursuit - photo manipulation.

But how can one know whether a photo is more or less as it came out of the camera, or the opposite?

Here’s the disjunction between the two.

Unmanipulated

• A single uninterrupted exposure;
• Cropped to taste;
• Common adjustments (color temperature, curves, sharpening, desaturation to black and white, etc.); and
• Dust spots on sensor cloned out.

Whilst…

 Manipulated

• Has double-exposure or fragments from several exposures;
• Geometric distortion for perspective correction; and
• Adjustments (dodging and burning).
